[SMM Titanium Spot Cargo Update: Weak Demand Leads to Pressure on Titanium Metal Prices Today] SMM reported on July 30 that the quoted price for TA1 titanium ingot was 57,000-58,000 yuan/mt, for TA2 titanium ingot was 55,000-56,000 yuan/mt, and for TC4 titanium ingot was 63,000-65,000 yuan/mt today.

SMM reported on July 30 that today, the quoted price for TA1 titanium ingot is 57,000-58,000 yuan/mt, TA2 titanium ingot is 55,000-56,000 yuan/mt, and TC4 titanium ingot is 63,000-65,000 yuan/mt.

Today, the titanium metal market is under pressure. The procurement demand for titanium materials from traditional industries continues to shrink, leaving titanium material processing enterprises in a dire situation with a lack of orders and a shrinking market size. Titanium smelters in the Baoji region are facing severe "rat race" competition, and the survival pressure on enterprises is increasing. Meanwhile, the supply of sponge titanium in the market has surged significantly, while the growth rate of downstream titanium material demand has been sluggish, resulting in an oversupply situation in the market. Affected by this, the processing fee for titanium ingot continues to decline. Coupled with the downward trend in the price of raw material sponge titanium, the price of titanium ingot is under pressure.
